From Chef With LOVE ❤️ is my passion project, a culmination of my two careers, CHEF & JOURNALIST.
I grew up in California in a multiracial family with an eclectic background.
My palate was exposed to Latin & European flavors from my mother’s side and Asian & Island spices from my father’s side. Family gatherings included a multitude of smells and tastes that represented all of America in its beautiful immigrant history.
Up until 2013, I cooked only for loved ones. I was an Emmy nominated TV news journalist, but after a decade, I had burnt out. My husband, Mitch, asked me the question we should all ask ourselves: “If you could do anything for a living, what would you do... even if you weren’t paid?”
Cooking was the answer, and so I returned to school and earned a culinary degree, got to cook with and for some of the best chefs in the universe including Jose Andres, Mary Sue Milliken, & Susan Feniger. I earned a mentorship with the prestigious James Beard Foundation and even got to cook for a week with Michelin starred chefs at the James Beard House.
Now, I have a chef, hospitality, and food podcast called 2 Sharp Chefs & A Microphone with my friend, chef photographer, Louiie Victa. I'm a proud member of Three Square's Culinary Council fighting childhood hunger and Junior League of Las Vegas.
I live in Las Vegas with my husband, Mitch Moss, & our two dog children, Dexter and Mickey. We love to travel, try new restaurants and wineries, spend time on the water, and workout.
